Rosalia Vila is Rosalia Vila is a Spanish flamenco and pop singer. Since her teen years she has been at the edges of classical and pop music. Additionally, she plays with genres like hip-hop trap, and soul. Pepe Habichuela, a flamenco guitar player with a lot of talent, describes her voice saying that it was sweet and had an old-fashioned sound. El Mal Querer was her big commercial and critical hit in 2018. After Los Angeles garnered her attention and a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist, it topped the Billboard charts of Latin Pop Albums and she won an Grammy. The track La Fama featuring the Weeknd was released in 2021. Motomami came out as her third album that was full-length. The album featured collaborations with fellow performers and producers like Cory Henry. The release came in the month of March 2022, following performances of the single Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish soloist to appear on the show on Saturday Night Live. The Rosalia of Motomami, who took home the Latin Album of the Year as well as three Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami also became the very first woman to do so.
